Generally can find a good buy or two.
While I really liked the the large variety of clothing here, it's mostly cheap brands and seconds from national brands with the labels cut out. I was a little taken aback to see some off brands priced higher than name brands. The store was clean, neat and everything except the end of season shoes were well displayed. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will return, but it's worth sorting through the racks because being seconds, not all sizes will be as marked. My size 14 pants were more like a 16 in the waist and a 12 in the thigh, which is great for my chicken legs, but not so much for my waist :(
Good spot for a quick outfit, rather than heading to the mall
If I could give less than one star I would after what happened to my wife and I on Sunday October 8th at the Delmar store. We had found this store several months ago and enjoyed shopping there, especially when we saw the sale prices on such nice clothing with brand names. My wife told her friend from Georgia in casual conversation several times after going there, so it was no surprise that when they were here visiting us that she wanted to go and shop there too. We had lunch at a local restaurant and then stopped at your store. We had her friend and her sister, along with their husbands (her friend is from Georgia and the sister from Colorado), my wife and myself... all of which were shopping. All of us had chosen several pieces of clothing and the girls had several pairs of jeans and pants. My wife's friend went to the counter and asked if she could use the restroom. She was met with a nasty glare from an older lady with glasses and told to go to the Subway store down the street, because they didn't have a restroom. My wife went up and asked the clerk where they go to the bathroom and she said their restroom was for staff only. My wife and I were so embarrassed at how your store staff treated our company that we put the clothing down and left the store. My wife and I will never return to shop there again. Like someone else stated...this is a great store, but the people running it are ruining lots of business and turning customers away at an alarming rate. In today's market, I believe this is a very serious mistake at the corporate level to tolerate such customer treatment by your store staff.
Very disappointed with the customer service at the Delmar, NY location. The two young girls told me at 8:23pm tonight that the dressing rooms were closed for the night. There should have been a sign on the door if there are no dressing rooms 35 mins before closing. I had walked around the store for 20 mins and had chosen 4 or 5 shirts I wanted to try on. The staff was rude and uninterested and more than one family left the store angry at this rediculous policy. One month earlier I left upset because these same girls told me only one dressing room was open so I had to wait 20 mins to try on a single shirt. This store is a great store but is unfortunately run by young teenage staff who make up rules so they have less work to do. I would not recommend it to anyone.
